Cast of characters
trueSpace and gameSpace are popular with independent game developers due to their
complete feature set covering modeling, surfacing, animation and rendering, the easy UI, and
good overall value. The images below show a collection of characters created by Eagle Softworx
for Witch Gate, their MMORPG developed using the Realm Crafter game engine.

Stage
Tim McClusky created these spaces for his game projects, for which he uses DarkBASIC
as one of his game platforms. As well as using gameSpace to make models, Tim also uses it
to make many of the textures he uses rather than paint them in a 2D program, a technique
he shared on the gameSpace forums. "Here is a pic of a few of the textures I made with
gameSpace. gameSpace has some really cool features.. It's possible to make really good
looking textures in gameSpace alone."

Weapons
and vehicles
Brad Bujak has created very cool looking low resolution cars in gameSpace, though
he has also tackled characters, a process he was happy to share with the community:
"I woke up at 5 am this morn, made my pot of coffee then sat down and started up
gameSpace. Today I wanted to start making a texture for my character…. I think I have
found a method that suits me just fine!" The tank is a trueSpace model by Patrick Mahan |

Action
Mike Lange created and animated a "Generic Bad Guy" using gameSpace.
Visually he wanted to achieve a "bright and campy look, while still looking sinister
enough to be a worthy opponent". Alex Gondarenko modeled the handgun in
trueSpace. The space fighter was created by Reactor Interactive for their space
shooter, Sector 13.

Embark on an Adventure
Sector 13 is an arcade style, multiplayer space shooter game
by Reactor Interactive. Drew Clark finished modeling all 20
spaceships used in Sector 13 in one summer, fitting this work
around a full-time job and summer school courses. He quotes:
"The interface is so intuitive and so fast, that I can model
my ideas about as fast as I can think of them."
On the right is another scene from the Witch Gate MMORPG by
Eagle Softworx. Vickie Eagle of Eagle Softworx says "When
Caligari released gameSpace, and I knew I had to have it after
looking at all the game development tools and formats that
were built in. As soon as I started using it, I put all the
other modelers I had aside."
